Daniela Ryf became the first woman to clinch back-to-back Ironman 70.3 World Championship victories by successfully defending her crown in Zell am See, Austria on Sunday. Jan Frodeno’s victory over the men’s field wasn’t as straightforward, but he did it anyway facing fierce competition from fellow Bahrain Endurance teammates: German compatriot Sebastian Kienle and defending champion Javier Gomez of Spain.
